At a meeting today, I was reminded that "journey" is going to be a bit of an overused word this year too. Everyone has a journey. No-one does things anymore or has just done stuff... they have to have had and will be having a journey.

Buzz Words 2010

I've noticed that 2010 has already begun gathering momentum with some buzz words beginning to emerge. Everyone is into things being "toasty" most likely inspired by the weather. I think the word "snow" must have been used more in this year so far than in the whole of the last decade!

get going:

I decided today that this would be my motto, a collection of phrases to live by for the time being to boost me into action. I need to get focussed and crack on with what needs to be done. No more getting distracted by analysing some detail in a photo or whether I should use 67% or 68% cyan in that poster. The future starts now.

I found this image earlier and it made me feel so motivated that I will use it as the first image on this my first ever blog post.

The text reads:
